Shroom welcomes you to even more great MP3 Music. I have included a wide variety of material here, covering both Texas and non-Texas bands. Hopefully, this music will intrigue you and cause you to want to further explore our website. The idea, of course, is to encourage you to buy CD's!!! Yes, it's true, we are actually NOT a Not For Profit operation! Please support us in our quest to make this great UN-POPULAR music available.

Autumn's Bed
- Live original song by my ex-wife Helen.

Woman
- Rough mix of Storm at Sunrises' version of the classic James Gang song.

Flight of Glowrung
- Track from the upcoming Shroom Limited Edition CD by False Prophet. Raging but melodic acid rock from Austin, Texas. Way cool!

Shadows of Substance
- Another track from this truly excellent Austin, TX. based band playing killer, dual guitar acid rock that is dark, melodic, heavy and classy.

Bar Star
- Buckshot recorded this lone 45 in 1975 in Houston, TX. Very much in the traditional Texas styled blues rock vein with the scorching lead guitar work by Win Landureth (Relayer guitarist) and Jim Fulton. Bass work was done by Rusty Walker and drums were handled by Roland Garza. Many thanks to Rusty for the info. Rusty played in a great Texas psyche band called The Sound Investement which released some music on the Laurie Records label.

Starlight Stampede
- Another obscure Texas hard rocker from 1975. Jeremiah were from Houston, TX. and released this 45 on Artesia Records (recorded at ACA Studios). Once again, the scorching lead guitar work indicative of all great Texas rock and roll.

Solitaire
- Special Forces were put together by Michael Knust and features Marcus Evans on bass and Keith York (Albatross, Rare Breed, Blowtorch Repair) on drums. It is my humble opinion that Knust deserved much more credit and acclaim for his guitar playing AND his songwriting. Let this track be an example of that.

Title Unknown
- An amazing artifact, this track comes from a session dubbed "The Marin County All-Stars" recorded at the Grateful Dead Studios in 1975. The band featured musicians from The Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, Jefferson Starship and Houston's own Michael Knust and Jerry Lightfoot- all calling themselves The Snakes. Well, nobody knows whatever became of the masters, but I am fortunate to have a few tracks in the archives from this legendary recording session.
